Upon meeting this beautiful spirit; she said “I’d like to photograph you” and my thought was….”who’d wanna photograph you? Dark complexion, gray haired, middle age….overweight? After some deliberation; I decided that a couple photos would be an awesome gift for my Husband’s and I’s 30th Wedding Anniversary; as I was at the point in my life of self-care, self-reflection, and self-confidence. Especially, after a life of servanthood professionally, voluntarily through church and motherhood.
This beautiful spirit encouraged me to look at and celebrate myself! She made me see and experience myself in the most beautiful way that I’d ever experienced myself before!
