Inner child
When I became a parent, I now had this whole person I was responsible for.
A huge shift in life. It changes you.
I didn't want my kids to see me in survival mode all the time. I learned through life lessons that time and memories are our most valuable items.
I want my kids to remember all the dancing and singing we did. The hugs and tickles. The kind of laughter that no sounds are being made.
It rained yesterday while the sun was shining. It's my favorite. Let's dance, spin and laugh until our faces hurt. That's exactly what we did.
These are the moments I'll never regret doing.
Do all the silly things. Embrace your inner child. Remember what it's like to live.
